I have lived in Greenwich for a number of years and following my graduation from Camberwell College of Art was fortunate to find a studio in the centre of Greenwich.

My paintings are responses to experience and influences: a means to remember and fix an emotion. The landscape is a vital element in my work and the horizon often recurs as a metaphor for barriers within one’s life. I use colour, form and texture to create dramatic large works to lift the spirit. However, I allow myself to be led intuitively by the painting itself. It is the engagement with the materials that drives it forward.
